DMXZone taking advantage of the DWCC deprecating Server Behaviors

I'm seeing a lot of hype with DMXZone extensions as endorsed as the way to use dynamic data via DW:
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1231011

They (DMX) is offering a free extension that uses PDO to connect to most common databases.

While this may sound great, I'd rather the company doing this was WebAssist. Having bought extensions from both companies, I think Web Assist is more responsive to it's customers and also have less bugs.

That said, what's the benefit of HTML data bindings? Does WebAssist plan on offering something similar.
PDO for SQL Server sure would be nice...just saying ;-)
