Can DataBridge handle multi-record updating and sorting?

I'm currently using DataAssist to build basic admin panels for my clients. It's great for putting together a simple list of items in the database for people to manage, but it's limited to clicking into a details page to edit 1 record at a time. I also can't easily sort the lists by clicking on a column. I have to hack the code in order to get that working.

Does the new DataBridge allow for this? I'd really like the ability to build a list with check boxes, and then the person could either click into an individual item like they do now, or they could check boxes next to multiple items to update a single field for all records at the same time. A "select all" would be great, too.

Sorting by columns would be great as well. I don't want to pull the trigger on buying the new stuff, though, if I'll still be suck with the same limitations. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
