Shipping correct on ecart - changes on Paypal to include Profile Shipping
(Sorry Thread title says doubling - we have now realised that is not the case - the following is the issue)
For the last few days we have had successful tests of our carts shipping - our checkout / cart etc all correctly pull the shipping rules set in ecart object to display through the carts and also through to Paypal. However today that changed as per below:
Even tho we have tracked that the correct shipping data is going from ecart through to Paypal, Paypal seems to now be increasing our shipping field by adding the $ value rules stored on their site under our Paypal profile.
Whilst it would be a simple fix to perhaps delete these Paypal profile shipping values - it is not that easy at the moment. We currently have another store running on the same email address with Paypal add to cart buttons that requires these paypal shipping profile values. In the future both sites will merge and the problem will no doubt rectify itself when they use ecart alone - however in the meantime is there a way to sort this out? Seems strange that it has suddenly started after testing fine.
I am unable to use express checkout as my store is a gift store where clients need to enter "gift card" information and "delivery addresses" different from their own etc.
Is there another specific line of code that I may be missing or need to add that will bypass the stored values in the existing paypal profile?
Or is this simply a bug with Paypal that we need to wait for them to fix?
Many thanks for your time - getting there slowly with your help :)
