Adding second search varible to search and results page.

Hi,
I have a database for users that lists their respective business details, very much a directory. In the database I have a column that is called featured.
Default is set to `0`. Those that are featured it is set to `1` from the admin panel.

I have a search page that lists businesses by city or county when a search is performed.
What I am trying to achieve is this; when someone searches for a business I would like those that have a `1` set in the database to be at the top of the results page for that search.

So when someone searches for a business in say Birmingham, all the business in the Birmingham area are on the results page (this works fine by the way) and those business in Birmingham that have a featured (`1`) in the database are listed at the top of the results page.

I would be grateful for any direction in completing the second part of the search / result page that will accomplish having the featured businesses at the top of the results page.

Many thanks for everyone’s time.
Kind regards
Jonathon
