Content pages npt displaying under Content sidebar

Content pages npt displaying under Content sidebar

Using PowerCMS on a site. Added content successfully locally and live.
I had 7 pages in a category called "Concepts". When I added the 8th page, only 4 now show in the left column of the admin screen.
I reproduced the error locally and on the live site. I also deleted all 8 pages and started again. When I added content for the 8th page, the list again now shows only 4 pages.
If the CMS is grouping pages by 4, there should be a 'next page' link but there is not. Since this happens both locally and live and the error has been duplicated, is there a fix for this? I have 200+ pages to add using PowerCMS, am at page 55, and stuck.
Also, I cannot afford to buy the new "design extender" package as it is just too expensive.
Suggestions?
I am using Ver. 1.01
Apache/PHP/MySQL
Not a memory issue, since I have added more pages to another section after this glitch came up.
Thanks for the support, and best regards.
