Where do I find out MySQL server for connecting Dreamweaver to database?

Hello,

Thanks for your past customer support! I have been using WebAssist products since 2008 and you have been right on and helpful!

I cannot connect the CMS to Dreamweaver so that changes that I make in the CMS show up in Dreamweaver.

I am missing some information.

Dreamweaver asks for MySQL server and Connection name.

I assume connection name is any name I want, but I cannot figure out what information is necessary for MySQL server.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with 1 and 1 hosting and they could figure out how to make this connection work.

Please and thanks for helping.

Those videos you all do are very helpful, but sometimes they need to be a little easier and simple for people like me that have very little experience using a database.

In one video, the girl mentions something like "I use Php My Admin to manage my databases, but you can use whatever you want".....

When you do an internet search to learn about Php Admin, it is impossible to figure out what she was talking about.

Some of us are just not as tech savy as you talented folks at WebAsssist.

Thanks again!

Mark
