problem updating a record where field has been changed using jquery

Hi there

I am having a problem updating a record.

I have a google map on the page (not pro google maps is manually coded)

I have some buttons that geocode the location from an address and populates the lattitude (maplat_loc) and longitude (maplong-loc) with the lattitude and longitude values returned from the geocode response.

The geocoding seems to be functioning ok, as it poulates the fields with the correct values, but when i click ok to submit the update, i get returned to the list page as expected, but the data is not saved into the database.

I have checked in firebug and the correct post values are submitted, so why they are not updating i am unsure....

the page can be viewed at locations/

To reproduce the error:
if you click to edit the first record "Waterman Arts Center"
Then go to the bottom of the page and click geocode by postcode,
you will see the lattitude and longitude fields get populated with the values from the geo-code result

when you click update it returns you to the list page, but when you go back to the edit page the values are no longer there.

anychance you could have a look at the page and see where i am going wrong

I have attached the page in a zip
