Totally confused with securityassist

I bought supersuite just over a week ago and although I am impressed with the plugins, I am not that impressed with instructions for SecurityAssist.

Although the Dreamweaver security is nowhere near as in depth it is much simpler and I am totally overwhelmed by the rules etc of Security Assist at the moment.

For starters I have 'created security pages' which makes the necessary admin log in page, logout page etc. But then what? Do I have to do anything to the admin-login page that was created? I noted that the login page created has two 'securityassist authenticate users'. Am I meant to point both to the my 'if login succeeds go to' page?

I attempted to add it to one or the other and both, but all I get on every page I add 'secure page' to is a redirection to the 'access denied' page I have set up when I attempt to login. It doesn't matter what 'secure page' rule I choose (ie 'Administrator') etc on the pages I wish to secure, I still get redirected to the no-access page I have created.

The point is there is nothing I can find in support that says what you actually do and this is without setting up multi-level support, which I have to do next. It's fine saying securityassist does all these things but to newbees like myself it is utterly bewildering without being told how to do it or at least shown examples.

I have noted there is some archived material but all that does is confuse matters even more as this is the old security assist.

I'd really appreciate if someone has some detailed directions on creating security pages with the NEW securityassist, or at least has some example files showing how 'create security pages' works. This was meant to speed up my work flow but at the moment it certainly doesn't feel like it!
