Editing menus after site created

OK, I admit I occasionally have a bad case of stupid fingers.

I have noticed a couple of typo's in my menus but when I try to edit in SAP I get a bunch of pages that have a "0" appended to the name, and then have to delete them and fix all the links.

I also have CSS Menu Writer, but when I tried it all I got was an additional menu that was added to the top of the page above the existing one.

Where do I really want to edit my menu?

Thanks,
