Confirm Page seems to not submit

I am using: DW CS5.5, PHP/MySQL, eCart 5.0.6

A website I have worked on for years suddenly stopped accepting payments. When the user gets to the confirm.php page, the site seems to hang. According to a tech at the hosting company, mysql had a lot of open connections that were just idle and time out at the end. All other database-driven pages function correctly. It is only the eCart page having this problem (if in fact the hosting tech is correct in his diagnosis).

The site is live: donate.php

Any help is greatly appreciated.
