add to cart behavior

Bless you, Jason, that answer made my day. I think I've restored the damaged pages and most is well again. But I'm having the issue that when someone adds something to the shopping cart, it doesn't take them to the shopping cart. I thought that this morning before my goof up it was doing that, though I'm not actually positive. It adds the item to the cart, just doesn't actually show them the cart unless the visitor clicks to see it. Is this something I could change simply somewhere? When I make an add -to -cart button with ecart, I know that's a simple toggle.
