Database pages still error

Ok, I have just eCart, DE and DB installed in that order. When I ran the Database Pages it went thru the serial number bit and then errors out with that same "WA_getColumnList is not defined" error.
A question: When you say make sure I only have the above three installed, does that mean no other extensions from other sources or only those three WA packages?
I'm wanting to go thru the fine tutorial you guys put together for doing data base sites and am stymied because step one is to run the Database Pages. I have run it before. Not sure when it went wrong. That was within a couple weeks ago.
I'm thinking I'm going to move my tutorial activities to my MacBook to see if I can get some of it done there. But I'm getting close to wanting to do a few data base projects live and want to do them with my PC.
