Page optimization problems

Doscumention on PCMS is very bad i had a very hard time to get to figure out page optimization to add the meta titles description and keywords to the site, now i found out that adding

php:
<title><?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection$PowerCMSConnection'main''meta-title'); ?></title>

will add my title but this only works for the parent page i have a page that will display news so on the admin section i created

NEWS_Parent (meta-title: News of Virginia)

News1 (meta-title: news test 1)
news2 (meta-title: news test 2)
news3 (meta-title: news test 3)

And so on each of the news1 news2 and news3 test they all display the same meta title that has NEWS_Parent ('News of Virginia') instead of displaying the corrects ones added to them, i checked the database and they have their own entries but it only grabs the one on the main parents page, how can i get this fixed we need better instructions on the help
