Link back to Main Site

I've created a desktop and mobile version (jQuery mobile) of a site. Both work great. On the desktop version I've included a php function that detects if someone is viewing the site on a iPhone. If they are, they're redirected to a subdomain that houses the mobile site. So, if you're on a iPhone, you're automatically redirected to the mobile site.

Now, on the mobile site I have a link in the footer that says “Switch to Full Site”. However, when you click this it attempts to hook up with the desktop version of the site, but the php function kick in and immediately redirects you back to the mobile site. Its an endless loop.

So, my question is is there another function that I can include either on the desktop site or mobile site that allows a mobile user to view the desktop site without getting caught in the redirect loop? Thanks.
