Password Validation Field Fails
I am using the defaults set in Security Assist 2.0 Wizard to create the registration form.
The password gets rejected whenever I include any non-alphanumeric characters, such as # or ) or !, etc.
The message in the form says "The password doesn't meet the specified strength. Your field must contain: a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 500 characters, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 500 alphabet characters, and a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 500 numbers"
However, the server validation appears to only check for the minimum and maximum number of characters.
$WAFV_Errors .= WAValidateEL((isset($_POST["Registration_group_Password"])?$_POST["Registration_group_Password"]:"") . "",6,500,true,4);
Where does it check for the number of alpha characters and or numerals and why does it reject the non-alphanumerics?
Thanks.
