How Do I Use SSL Certificate for PowerStore 3?

I setup a store using PowerStore 3 a while back (PS3 was the most recent version at the time) in test mode and the owner has finally decided to go ahead. I've searched around the forums for information about integrating an SSL. The site is hosted on GoDaddy and payments are currently planned using PayPal Payments Pro. It seems people are told to simply make the entire site redirect to https but I would prefer just to use https on the pages that are necessary if possible.

Can someone please provide details on how and where to make the necessary edits and also which pages need to be https.

I have not bought the SSL yet.

Thanks very much!
