Activating eCart 3.7.1 causing Dreamweaver CS3 to shut down

I am having trouble activating and using eCart 3.7.1 in my Dreamweaver CS3. I had no problems loading the extension in my Extension Manager. I have spoken with a tech named Eric who recommended that I go through the steps and delete the cache dat file for Dreamweaver. I went through the steps and even rebooted my entire computer before opening up Dreamweaver and attempting to activate eCart either by starting a new cart or looking at the Help section. Both ways cause my Dreamweaver to shut down and the debug window to appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
