Link to 'live view' of page currently being edited

Maybe my recollection is wrong, but I seem to remember that whilst logged in to power cms, it was possible to navigate back to the 'live view' of the page currently being edited, or at least to go to the home page, where the 'edit' links would now be visible.

This negated the need to log in and out when making a change, and you could simply utilise the 'edit' links on your live pages.

Am i mistaken ? If this feature is missing, i will hand code it to my version if needed.

**Update**

I found the link(s), called 'View this page' on an site i made a couple of years ago.

It is situated next to the 'page optimization' link on the cms admin 'home page' and on the content_update page.

The code to display the link is there, on condition that the field 'Content Page Name' has a value.

For some reason, this field is null in my pcms2_contents table.

Is this a bug in PCMS builder when adding content to PCMS ?

Also, the field values in ContentPageSetParentID, ContentPageSetOrder and ParentID are set to NULL, NULL and 0 respectively.

What values should I be seeing here, and in what circumstances ?

Thanks
