I wanted to follow-up and let you know that I was able to resolve the problem today. I noticed that I had created a column labeled "discountable2" for the purpose of eCart identifying the specific item in my sql database. The discounts in questions were not linked to this column (per say).
In addition, this solution has also corrected my webinar discounts as well. This closes this thread.
