Erratic eCart Update(s)

If I add to Cart the first time I have to reload page to get item to show. Once I do that however, It adds each time I press 'Add to Cart.'

Also, If I go back and forth between index.php and items_Detail.php it adds one item to Quick Cart on top of each page as I go back and forth each time. (Without pressing 'Add to Cart.')

Lastly, on my Quick Cart (index.php) it doesn't bring up any kind of detail when I press 'View.' I assume this is the code: onclick="MM_goToURL('plugins/parent',''). Guess, I'm not sure which is the parent? Quick Cart on top of items_Detail.php or Quick Cart on top of index.php

Hopefully, I've uploaded proper files, let me know if you need more?? Thanks!!!!
