Slow page loads

The site wheezingeezer.com has slow load times. I have a feeling it is GoDaddy servers. However they state there are not any any issues. I had this problem a few months back, then the load times seemed to mysteriously clear up. Sort of. When I saw this post I knew I had to chime in. Does anyone else have GoDaddy "Grid Hosting" issues?

The site owner is in the process of setting up magazine ads and affiliate programs to boost traffic in the Spring. (March April). I need to be sure the site can handle the traffic and not choke once the counter starts rolling.

I have checked all graphics on the site and minimized .png file sizes. I did housekeeping on the server and cleaned out most unnecessary files. It just seems 4 to 6 second load times are unacceptable (Sometimes longer). I know the GoDaddy servers are in CA. and I am located in IL., but it should be faster.

My ISP is Comcast and I have a cable modem. I can only imagine how slow DSL or Satellite load times must be in FL.

Thank you WA.
