Can't add Ecart object

I already have a site. I just figured out what the problem was though. My site is hosted on an ASP enable server, and I have asp server side includes in the html, but the page itself was a html page. Once I saved it as an .asp page I was able to add the ecart object. Thanks for your time, very silly mistake on my end.

I would like to know if you have a sample cart that comes with the product download. I didn't see one, but it would be very beneficial for me to get started with a tutorial that actually uses a sample site you have created. Thanks
