Replacement for Interakt MX Includes!

MX Includes which was part of Kollection and later ADDT, is a fabulous product and as I move away from using ADDT (due to lack of development and support) I would like to see this reviewed as a possibility at WA.

In this world of MVC, MX Includes was a dumbed down version that made life really easy. You did not need to create separate logic & view pages for each included item. You simply created a page in full (recordsets, javascript, content, etc...) and included that in the primary page (eg: index.php). Although this is similar to PHP Includes it has one big difference. It had the ability to separate the "SQL Data", "HEAD" and "BODY" and insert them in the correct spots on the new page so it just - worked!

The correct file was pulled by a simple URL variable in the primary file (mod was the default variable but I usually changed this to "page=").

To me that was Interakts Killer App and as ADDT grows longer and longer in the tooth, I will need a suitable replacement.

NOTE: the biggest concern with an item like this is "paths", since included files are rarely in the same folder as the primary file. Interakt managed this problem quite well with there products, but it must not be taken lightely in any development.
