Current link state not working
I am having a couple of issues using "current" state:
1. It only works on the home page, which doesn't have any children associated
2. On the home page, all of the top level menu items show up in the "hover" state, but when I click into one of those pages, they show up in normal state, but the "current" state does not appear.
3. I changed the css so that it should appear differently than the "hover" state, but that doesn't work.
I have tried the script-change workaround that was provided to another user (change:
<script type="text/javascript">if(window.attachEvent) { window.attachEvent("onload", function() { cssmw1.intializeMenu('cssmw1',{select_current: 2, orientation: 1}); }); } else if(window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("load", function() { cssmw1.intializeMenu('cssmw1',{select_current: 2, orientation: 1}); }, true); }</script>
to:
<script type="text/javascript">if(window.attachEvent) { window.attachEvent("onload", function() { cssmw1.intializeMenu('cssmw1',{select_current: 1, orientation: 1}); }); } else if(window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("load", function() { cssmw1.intializeMenu('cssmw1',{select_current: 1, orientation: 1}); }, true); }</script>
and all that did was make the home page menu item appear in the hover state, and the others remain normal.
I really need to be able to have current page identified. If there is no way to do this in the CSS, is there a way to include breadcrumbs?
HELP!
this extension was purchased to save me time, but it is making the job more difficult!!
