Multiple items shipping rate is not correct.
If I put 1 item in the cart I get the correct shipping cost.
If I have 10 items in the cart I get a much higher rate than the Post Office.
How would I configure shipping for multiple items in 1 box?
I understand that the software is adding the weight I originally entered times 10.
Can you help me create a rule for this and also explain how to apply the rule and to which pages?
I have not done this in awhile.
Just to clarify a a little more.
1 item weighs - 29 oz.
1 EMPTY box with packing weighs - 24 oz.
So,
1 item in a box with packing weighs 53 oz.
If I add 10 items to the cart it takes 53 oz. and totals it by 10 times.
This is not what the client needs it to do.
The client is able to fit 10 items in 1 box.
29 oz times 10 plus 1 box with packing is 314 ounces.
USPS is coming up with 530 ounce prices.
It should not be adding the total weight of 10 boxes with packing ...
It only needs to add 1 box with packing and 10 items.
OTHER THOUGHTS:
Should I just enter the items actual weight... or should I enter the items weight, plus the box, plus packing?
Anyone else confused?
