Universal Email does not go to confirmation page

I have an email form that is able to send emails but it fails to go to my my email confirmation page which is named emailConfirmation.php. Instead of going to my confirmation page it returns to the original page that contains the form.

bfcMail.php --> sends email to recipient --> returns back to bfcMail.php
