Search not working

Not sure what's happened here - I was just looking over something and noticed that a search function has stopped working on a page that I know used to be fine.

I did recently create another search page based on the original - the only difference being it was searching a different field in a different table.

The newer one is working fine, and I've looked at the two search and two results pages, and can't see why one works and the other not.

I've attached the four files and would be grateful if someone could have a quick look and see if they can spot what's gone AWOL.

The two that have stopped working are:

candidatesearch.php
candidatesearchresults.php

And the two that are working are:

contactWishlistSearch.php
contactWishlistSearchResults.php

Thank you!
