I will address these in the order you posted them.

The tools are all Dreamweaver extensions that rely on wizard style interfaces to configure. The output is standard html and css though that is designed to be edited from within DW.

SiteAssist will create a site that is based on a standard DWT file that will be located in the Templates folder. Making changes to this template file will update all of the pages in the site that are derived from it. The template contains some basic editable regions to allow you to alter the content on pages.

I do not know about the compatibility of these extensions in regards to our tools output, it is not something that I have any personal experience with. I can't say either way if it will work or not.
