okay, did I hit some sort of question limit or something?
I am trying really hard not to get nasty, but it is getting a little difficult...as I feel I am being ignored.

your exact description of the item I am stuck on is this:
"on the security tab, make sure the Administrator account is used for the Allow Access to option, and set the failed redirect to the admin/users_login.php page."

I do not see any way to select said Administrator account....maybe I am missing something.
I do not have security assist installed, and the version that I do own is an old one. I have no desire to purchase this to simply update my pcms102. I am simply trying to update the ckeditor so that it will work with ie9. And since I asked in another thread about an update, you told me to simply follow these 4 steps to update it....that's what I decided to do. I decided to update it myself because no date was given of an update offered by WA.

I am not the type of person who would simply tell my clients to "just use another browser like chrome or firefox" so that I could be finished with the problem.

So please, can I get some clarification on what I am to do about the security tab issue that I am having? I have not even been able to fully test yet, because of the error that I also posted in this thread. I have a hinky feeling that this is not going to be resolved before the long weekend, so I will get to sit here and stew some more.

If you are simply working on a fix for me, I apologize...but I feel I was making progress then all communication stopped for some reason
