PowerStore 4.5 Test Mode not working

I thought it wouldn't matter anymore since I have everything live and running, but I found myself wanting to use the test mode again with a setting change in the Admin panel. The issue;

Even in test mode, the store sends me to Paypal following purchase if I have the Payment Gateway set to Paypal Standard. If I disable the payment gateway (set to 'None'), it then works and gives me the 'Store is in Test Mode' text after the order.

I had a fix from a WA member that seemed to work fine, but I recently found that it also disabled the entire referral to Paypal even with a live order out of test mode, so I just reupped the original script to make the store work again.

I'll attach the edited php page for you to see, I can test any new code changes and report the effect.
