I have to be missing something fundamental

Hi Guys I need a little urgent help

I am creating a shoe shop where one table holds a record of the shoes and another holds the sizes of each shoe along with various other info. My results page links with the detail page via the shoe_products_ref column which is a 'view' of the combined tables.

No problem there... So i create my cart with extra columns for size and barcode and I can even create the cart page with the correct size chosen from a dynamic list.

My problem is that it's not carrying forward any of the data that is unique to each shoe ie the
shoe_size_id, shoe_size, barcode_ref, shoe_price etc it always just takes the first instance of shoe according to the column shoe_product_ref.

I have to be missing something fundamental.
attached is a db plan, the 'view' and the renamed view as a recordset used by the cart

the results page is: shoe_products_Results.php
the detail page is eg: shoe_products_Detail.php?shoe_product_ref=B003
and the cart page: cart.php

Many thanks in advance for any help offered

Russ
