HTML Editor - Essential Features
I have been looking at using Framework Builder Themes to run two web sites with similar structure out of one set of files.
I think almost everything one needs is there. Dynamic Data Connection, Theme Driven Template, BUT without dynamic css and upload folders in HTMLEditor (and File Manager), it won't really work.
I have to have custom css for the editor for each site in order to give end user an idea what their edits will look like.
I understand the difficulty of importing style lists and such if it is dynamic, but would it be possible to have a default css just like the default database connection, but allow a variable value or something to change the location of that css page.
I can add a dynamic value for a css page, but I have to hack every editor instance to do it, and if I use the GUI, I'm afraid it will screw things up.
what I need is to be able to address for the editor css like this
- css
- site1 (default)
- screen.css
- print.css
- cms.css
- screen.css
- site2
- screen.css
- print.css
- cms.css
- screen.css
- site1 (default)
The way style lists work is already compatible. Dynamically addressing the css of the editor and incorporating dynamic upload folder would go a long way toward truly being able to make a framework IMHO.
Thanks for your time.
