Activation Concerns
I have serious concerns about your activation scheme.
Call me paranoid (I do come from Interakt/ADDT) but if WebAssist decided to close it's doors - every one of my extensions would stop working within a month.
I understand the "phone home" in order to activate, but the "phone home regularly" does not sit well with me. I am requesting that a new activation scheme be implemented, one that will assure my investments with your products will still work, even if you no longer exist.
Before anyone from WA chimes in with "we're not going anywhere" please don't say it! I've heard it before - twice! At least those older products still functioned when when the company's left town, so at least I still got to use them until the code became obsolete.
However if WA goes out of business tomorrow, all my current tools stop working within a month. That leaves me feeling uneasy!
