No results on page load

Hi I want to do a search and results page on the page, but I do not want any results to show when I first load the page only the results from the search criteria when form button submitted. What is the best way of doing this. Can I filter the recordset to just show when form submitted?

I have seached the entire forum but cant find anything relating to this.
