Getting the most out of Dynamic XML Chart
First off... Wow!!! Dynamic Web Charts is AWESOME!
I've owned for probably 12+ months and only played with it maybe 30min.
Tonight I've spent about 2 hours with it and Whooo Hooo!
I have a few questions to help me get the most out of this nifty extension.
I'm using PHP and mySQL.
I need to set my yAxis to specific MIN and MAX dynamic values. I need a little help understanding how to utilize the following SQL commands. How do I grab these results from mySQL and save them as a variable?
SELECT GREATEST(field1, field2, field3, field4, field5, field6, field7)
FROM <table>
SELECT LEAST(field1, field2, field3, field4, field5, field6, field7)
FROM <table>
Then once I have the variables from mySQL, I need to calculate the difference between the two result values. I need the difference between the dynamic MIN and the dynamic MAX to be an EVEN number.
$yMax = 33;
$yMin = 12;
$yTick = $yMax - $yMin;
Even if I have to ADD (1) to the MAX value to make the difference even. I then will take this calculated difference and make it my <tick number=""> value. This should make for a much cleaner yAxis legend.
if ($yTick % 2 ) {
$yTick++;
} else {
}
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)
PS. Is there a way to export the chart to a JPG or PNG?
