Checkout Wizard Questions
Hi! A few questions:
Operations seem to be smoother after reinstalling everything; however, I am concerned about the following:
I apply spry validations to the checkout.php myself? And also bind the data to the textfields? There are no validations applied, and there is no mention of this generating and/or not generating through the wizard, so I was wondering if this is how it is suppose to be...The forms are not connected to the WebAssist Form Builder, so I'm not sure what to do...use spry validations, or use WA forms > Validations> etc...or if these pages have been created as usable...
When I first ran the wizard, the pages would not attach properly to the template: I could see the template tab, but the pages were skeletal, with broken link images and non-existent left and right columns. I tried to solve this by creating new documents from the template then copied and pasted the code into those new documets. That's fine as long as it works...will this work?
Another issue is the confirm page is not attaching to the eC_Checkpoint_Custom_Arial.css I am sending the page to you to see if you can tell me what to do to attach it...it looks terrible without... :)
the only place I see the style sheet is in line 509 and line 689. As you can see there are only php icons and no tables...is this how it's suppose to be? If not what is missing?
One more issue is the univeral emial: When I ran the checkout wizard, I applied the from address as from site sales email address...the return path would be the same? I don't understand what the email designations are suppose to be...these are sales going to sales or would it be contact to sales? Since I probably don't have this correct, how do I change it? (These are not going through a payment gateway at this time.)
This time around, I decided to have all the web assist issues finished before I create the remaining parts of the site. The web pages created from assist are on the hosting server with the index and emptly home for access. If you want to get a better idea of what is going on, take a look for yourself...I'd really like to wrap this up...I'm sure you'll get a better perspective of what I'm trying to convey...
Thanks You!!
