Next Previous links on detail page

Next Previous links on detail page

I need to put previous and next links on a detail page. I have only seen instructions online for repeat regions. Is there someway DataAssist does this and I just haven't noticed? Is there a reasonable way of doing this.

For background:
There is a master page created by DataAssist with images in a grid. When the user clicks on an image they are taken to the detail page, with a larger image and details. I want to have Previous and Next links on the detail page, so that the user doesn't have to go back to the master page to see another image.

Any help you can offer would be super.
