ecart content in email

Seam to be having problems adding any dynamic content to an email template in UE,

Previously I made a email friendly page and added all the dynamic content with recordset and then added it as a template in UE but for some reason the paths in the template are not being updated via the include so it fails on the first line saying it cannot find the path to the db connection file.

I even tried not using a template and selected the DW edit button then used the framework to include the correct email template thinking that would update the path correctly but still get the same outcome.

At the moment I cannot send a copy of the completed ecart contents to the server admin which is causing no end of problems.

Am I missing something obvious?
