Data Encryption

Using latest DataAssist, PHP, and Dreamweaver CS5

I have a form field setup for testing. I am using DataAssist to insert the record into a MySql database. This field needs to be encrypted and then decrypted when it is time to view. So I need it encrypted in MySql and decrypted when viewed on the page. I have Security Assist but I dont see anything that will allow me to do this. I have researched AES_ENCRYPT but I cannot seem to incorporate it with the DataAssist Insert Behavior. Any advice or instruction?
