Site Sculptor error WA_siteprefferences.js

I installed site sculptor and I get an error message from Dreamweaver CS5 that says WA_siteprefferences.js has been running for a long time if I press continue the problem continues and Site Sculptor never opens a new site the screen stays blank. I deleted the .dat file as suggested and delete and reinstalled site sculptor to no avail. I followed the instructions and it seems like others have had the same problem from what I see posted online. The solutions offered as fixes do not correct the problem.
