Language: Portuguese (Brazil) and the currency R$ (BRL)

I live in Brazil and develop some websites with online sales. In Brazil, the currency is called REAL (R$) and the symbol is BRL. I would love to buy eCart5 ecart but unfortunately does not support the language of Portuguese Brasil.
I have two questions:
1. Can I work with eCart5 usually in English or Spanish in the generated code and change the currency symbol (U.S. $ USD) for R$ BRL? I intend to develop all the pages of purchase and choose a payment gateway and local delivery.
2. Can I apply the eCart5 on my site to buy only one product at a time? ie: no longer carries a product in your shopping cart.
