Beta Policy (Closing)

Beta Policy (Closing)

One simple question regarding betas and the closing of betas.

Is there a particular reason to close a beta and shut down the serial before the product releases to the public?

My issue with this process is that a lot of the stuff I am testing is on actual live sites. So, if I need to make an edit to the site between the beta closing and the extension becoming purchasable, it puts me in a real bind.

I would think that for the trade off of some us actually testing the results in a real production environment, that we could at least continue use until the product is released. At that point, by all means, shut down the beta serials and if we really need it, then naturally we will purchase it.

But the policy now leaves me at a disadvantage for testing something in a live production scenario.

Best regards,
