Just a quick thank you for the ENORMOUSLY helpful explanation of the user root, when it is applicable and when it isn't. As someone who is quite new to php and mysql, I haven't seen this clear of an explanation in anything I've read or searched on the Web. Well done!

As I posted back to Ian, I'm going to give this a go again on Monday and if need be, start from scratch. And, yes I agree with you wholeheartedly that a detailed, step-by-step set of instructions is what is needed for these prebuilt solutions. Coming from someone who writes and edits technical documentation for a living (me), when someone tells me I can use a product and don't need to know or understand a lick of code....well, that's exactly what I expect. Do they have a suggestion box?!
