HTML editor losing in style and inserts <p>

I using HTML editor to edit a dataassist form on an update page for an admin backend.

Here is the code the HTML editor generates.

<p><span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"><strong>Hannah</strong></span> - Female Parti Yorkie Pup</p>

And this is what it saves to the database, but when you re edit the html editor shows

<p><span style=""><strong>Hannah</strong></span> - Female Parti Yorkie Pup</p>

1. How do I kept from losing the line style?
2. How do I keep HTML editor from inserting <p></p>?

This is how I want the code

<span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"><strong>Hannah</strong></span> - Female Parti Yorkie Pup
