Multiple images server file upload problem

Multiple images server file upload problem

I have just successfully installed PowerGallery on my server and everything seems to work and display OK except when I try to upload new multiple images for a new gallery. I first successfully uploaded 27 jpg images onto the server. Then, using the server upload tab, I selected this directory and clicked 'add images' in the normal manner. The system indicated that it processed all 27 images, yet when I went to Manage Images only 5 of them were present. I repeated the operation and it uploaded the same 5 images again and added them to the list. The 5 images seemed to have been extracted from the source directory at random. PowerGallery correctly displays and handles these 5 images. Any ideas what I need to do to get all 27 images to upload properly?
