Some Decent Documentation

Some Decent Documentation

Hello, all.

Yes, I'm new, and while I hate to start off with a gripe, I've grown frustrated with searching the forums.

We're all working at different levels of experience to create websites and pages, and when I saw the WebAssist products I thought they would really give me a hand in jumping more fully into the web world than I'm currently able to.

I purchased SiteAssist Professional and CSS Sculptor on the basis of the importablility indicated in the product videos on the WebAssist website.

Unfortunately, the documentation provided with either product is lacking at best - and unhelpful at worst.

And perusing the forums hasn't been much more helpful. I've seen many people with questions about how to import from CSS Sculptor to SiteAssist, and the answers are usually something like this:

"If you extract the ZIP, you will see that there are multiple zips, and then you can import the sculptor layout zip in the preset manager."

When I see a sentence like that, I often think of another: "People who don't need people need people around to make sure they know that the people are people who know they don't need people." It's about as helpful.

Given that the functionality between these two products is a selling point in the text and video presentations for both, why isn't there better documentation on their use?

When I want to import a file from CSS Sculptor to SiteAssist, where does the file I'm importing have to be? What does it have to be? Are images involved? And so forth.

Step-by-step instructions would be really helpful, here. Especially when the video for CSS Sculptor talks about how easily the novice user can create sites.

Please, can we have some *decent* instructions on the use of the products we bought but are somewhat in the dark on how to use?

Thank you.
