The Express Checkout consists of three API calls and server behaviors. The Authorization goes on your checkout page, this takes them to PayPal to login. On the pp_confirm page you have the 'get payer profile' and the 'process transaction' Express Checkout server behaviors.

Thanks Eric, this is starting to make sense. However, when you say above "Authorization" goes on checkout page do you mean "Authentication"?

Hate to be a stickler but I get confused easily. I do have authentication for paypal express on my checkout.php page, but nothing about authorization.

Please clarify. And thanks for hanging in there with me. paul
