PHP installed, still not working

I went through the process of installing PHP, it seems to have installed properly, it shows the components in IIS manager as allowed with a green checkmark, I followed the steps to the letter. But when I try to run the php test script it does not work. Also when I try to open the website location I get this message.

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
