The guide that is located here should work for your situation, but it does refer to the Digital File Pro still. In this guide where it refers to Insert > WebAssist > Digital File Pro you can use Insert > WebAssist > File Manipulation.

Other than that everything else should match up and let you add file uploads to your DataAssist pages. When it comes to adding uploads to the form this is all that is done when you add the upload. Any db manipulation that you would like to do would need to be done via DataAssist.
