Template folder

i must move the Template folder from where it was positioned under the PowerCMS directory to the root folder of the site? so then the original strucutures of folders when i unzipped the package is in need of moving directories around?
ok i did that and that seems to be doing something - so i selected certain files in the list that i thought appropriate but then...
i get a message - certain to be useful to someone who knows template tech -
"some regions in this document have no corresponding regions in the new template"
with some scary choices...
